Etowah High School’s star defensive tackle was one of three young men arrested on Wednesday for the Jan. 4 murder of Aaron Huff in Gadsden, Alabama.

Jessie Altman, a 17-year-old junior who had received interest from D1 college football teams, is another suspect in the case after last week's murder. Two other young men, 16-year-old Kalab Whitworth and 17-year-old Tyler Abbott, have already been charged in the shooting that killed Huff. They will both be tried as adults.

According to the Gadsden Times, authorities have not officially commented on the arrests yet. However, police were actively looking for more teen suspects in the murder case before Altman, Broderick Lawrence Pearson, 18, and Lonterry Orlando Harrison, 17, were arrested.

247Sports lists the 3-star DT as the No. 20 player coming out of Alabama, and No. 585 player in the nation, for the class of 2019.

Prior to Altman's arrest, he took visits (unofficial or official) to Oregon, West Virginia, TCU, Texas Tech, Virginia Tech, Texas, and Mississippi State. The Florida State Seminoles and Alabama also expressed some interest in recruiting Altman.
